Ge profile refrigerator slow water dispenser

you have a seperate valve for ice maker and water dispenser, though it is possible both could have debris preventing proper water flow, i would check the water pressure you have going into the valve solenoid housing. turn off water to fridge, disconnect the line at the fridge, not in basement at saddle valve. place end of tube in bucket, turn on water. how is pressure? good or slow? if its good, then you probably do need to replace valve solenoid housing. You can NOT clear debris out of these, they must be replaced.
If your water pressure is still not good, either y ou have a kink in plastic water line. Despite having changed saddle valve in basement, if the stem of saddle valve is mounted on bottom half of pipe, debris from pipe is getting into water line and so on. My Maytag side by side with water dispenser and ice maker doesn't work. We bought a house - never lived in - and the fridge and freezer work fine. We replaced the water filter and find that no water comes...

The sadle valve is located on the copper pipe where the tube attaches to your water pipe in the house. Shut the water off at the saddle valve. Remove the hose from the rear of the frig on the water inlet valve and put it into a pail. Tunr the water on at the saddle valve and see how fast the water comes out. Some times if the saddle valve is installed on the bottom of the copper pipe they will get corrosive and restrict water flow. Open and close the valve several times to make sure it is clear and reinstall the hose to the rear of the frig. Turn the water back on to see if it works.

Samsung side by side fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser the ice dispenser works fine but the water dispenser dose'nt, I have changed the water valve, It worked for a while but its not working now....

You likely have a blockage in the line somewhere. If the water valve is sending water to the icemaker, it should be sending it to the water dispenser.

Try removing the water dispenser line from the water valve and run something through it to try to open it up. I had this problem several years ago and used a length of plastic weedeater line to open it up.

Whirlpool GR2FHTXVQ00 fridge. Water dispenser

The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.
The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure.

You can thaw out the fill tube and replace the inlet valves.

GE GSS22JFMC when I press the water button it leaks

That's where the water line runs to get to the dispenser. You may have to remove the cardboard backing to see it. The line runs from the water inlet valve. That's where the supply line from the house connects to the fridge. One line goes up to the ice maker and the other goes over to the fridge side where it goes inside the fridge behind the crisper to a reservoir where the water is chilled before it goes to the dispenser. Look for the water coming out when someone else tries the dispenser. Look for a fitting that has come loose.

Water dispenser leaks, ice maker won't make ice. Hve disconnected line at bottom front, and tried blowing out the lines, no help. Model EDQ22DQFNX00

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

For the ice maker problem, Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear. If it does, the problem is the ice maker and not the valve and line.

Whirlpool Side-by-Side Refrigerator No Water to Icemaker or Door

Check to see that you do have water to the water valve on the fridge. You can disconnect right where the water line goes into the valve on the fridge. Next, if you can, check power at the valve while activating the water dispenser. If you have power at the valve when activating then the water valve is bad. Let me know what you find.

How to hook up Ice & Water dispenser on freezer door

The water valve is on the back of the refrigerator. The water line connects directly to that valve. If there is no line available then you will need to run one from a cold water line in the plumbing using a drill type (1/4") saddle valve on that pipe. Hope this helps. If you need more instruction let me know!

Water Dispenser Drips

Had the same problem after replacing over seven water valves and installing a water regulator in the water line to the refrigerator with no help. Had to reduce the water pressure to about 27 pounds the reduce most of the drips. It drips an amount about the size of a quarter and when the water gets the coldest it stops the drip, but there is always a droplet at the end of the water disperser tube.

The problem is with water stored in the refrigerator side of the box. Water come in and does not leak. After the water gets colder it expands and oozes drips from the water dispenser. It is worse with the roll of tubing behind the crisper drawer on the bottom, because there is no room for expansion in the tubing. We replaced the tubing with and older style tank and it helped some, but not completely. The solution is 1. Try to buy a refrigerator with a tank instead of the roll of tubing in the bottom of the refrigerator side. 2. Don't use the water dispenser. 3. Reroute the tubing directly to the water dispenser and bypass going into the refrigerator, the water will not be as cold. 4. Avoid those built by Whirlpool.
