If someone has attempted to break into the machine, they may have damaged your key mechanism. Try lubricating the key, inspect the key for damage also, gently feel as you try to turn the lock for a section of less resistance... Replace the lock if you get it open. If all else fails, you may have to spend the day drilling out the lock, hardened steel is difficult, but not impossible to drill...

SOURCE: Two dollar coin fell into a space between agitator and a drum.
you can pop of the agitaor ( held on by a 7/16 screw to the the inner tub will lift right out, it merely rests upon the spline, youll need to "pop" the main top first by "popping hte release clips. approximately 6 inches form either side between the main lid and the front panel are the clips, use a sturdy putty knife as these are tough to undo, the outer tub ring then simply unsnaps off and youll be able to remove the inner basket with no problem.

I had a coin washer and dryer.The slider has little fingers(metal)that slide over the coins.If the coin isn't placed and the slider is pushed hard will jam. Mine had a side cover with a lock. Open that and there is a long rod that has to be unscrewed to remove the lock box,then you should is what went wrong.Hope this helps>

SOURCE: open coin trap
use side of spanner to open the circular water drain plug on coin trap, remove all water.
use flat screwdriver to lift yellow tab at top of coin trap whiloe turning coin trap anticlockwise.
