There is two red lights, one means you are recording and the other is low batt. which one you are talking about?
If it is Low batt light,there is dirty or bad contacts at battery compartemt. clean it with alcohol and a piece of cotton.
The other light is you are recording.
also you are in VOX mode, disconect.
VOX means voice operated without hands.
Shortcut battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs///
