Question about Televison & Video
Either the color wheel will most likely have to be replaced. Take a closer look to see if the purple coloring is any different then the rest. If colors are bad, change it, if the colors and wheel look ok, then it's time to test the capactiors and the ballast with a multi-tester.

It seems there is a convergence problem. The complex convergence circuitry is failing. It is not something you can fix unless you or someone in the house is skilled at soldering and has some electronics experience. Should be fixed by a trained tech.
For the heck of it try a hard reset first to make sure it is not a corrupted software code. Unplug the power cord for 5 hours then plug back in and power is up. This sometimes works, if it doesnt then it need to be repaired.

This is one of two things, a problem with the optical engine witch would be a 500-600 repair, or the second option and more likely is you have a bulb problem. First unplugg it for a hour and try again (I know it sounds stupid but just try) Then remove the bulb and dont touch the glass, if it looks burnt than the bulb it going, time to replace it. you can order a repacment online at lamp-dlp.com It would also be a good idea to blow out the dust in the bulb chamber with air. Good Luck
