Your resettable thermostat turned off the high power heater circuit and the red warning light. The heater got too hot when the boiler became empty of water. This is to keep the heater from burning out if the boiler becomes empty. To reset the thermostat, turn the micro casa a leva over. There is a yellow plug near the center of the bottom which is easy to pry out. Stick a screwdriver, pencil, toothpick, chopstick or whatever else is lying around into the hole and gently reset the thermostat button. You will hear a click when it resets. You are then ready to go.

How do I test the heating element in my Bunn BTX-B coffee maker

Take off spray head and the nut under it. Lift the fill water lid. Remove screws. Lift the top off. Remove the nut where the water runs into the tank. Now lift the tray out. Now you can disconnect one end of the heating element and test it. It is probably good. There are 2 thermal fuses connected (under the white sleeves) that usually open. They carry them at Radio Shack and other electronics stores. There is a temperature marked on the side in Celsius. They should read like a normal fuse (continuity if good). I have replaced several of these and have not had a bad element yet. Good luck

Where is the thermostat on 2002 toyota corolla

I could only find for a 1.8, shouldn't be much difference.

  • Mechanic's toolset, including a full socket set, wrenches and screwdrivers
  • Replacement thermostat, new or rebuilt
  • New gasket for thermostat
    • 1 Remove the cover on the right side of the under-engine. Drain the engine coolant into a sealable container.
    • 2 Take out the fan and the V-belt on the generator, then remove the generator assembly. Remove the two nuts that hold the water inlet in place and then pull the water inlet.
    • 3 Lift out the thermostat and remove the gasket. Clean the gasket mating surfaces thoroughly of dirt and old gasket material.
    • 4 Put a new gasket on the thermostat, then install the thermostat so that the jiggle valve is on top. Make sure the thermostat is set within 10 degrees to either side of the prescribed position.
    • 5 Connect the water inlet and set the two nuts in place. Tighten the nuts to 8 foot pounds.
    • 6 Set the generator assembly in place. Refill the engine with coolant. Start the engine and check for leaks. Replace the right side cover under the engine.
Tips & Warnings
  • Dogs and cats are attracted will drink coolant left in open containers or puddled on the floor and ingestion is often fatal. Drain coolant into a sealable container. Reuse the coolant unless it's contaminated or more than 4 or 5 years old.

After flush tank refills very slowly---is there a restictor that can be removed ..what color is it ..an tell me what to do

probably not. your valve is corroded or stopped up. It pretty easy to change and you can buy one at most hardware stores.
(1) turn the water off to the stool
(2) unscrew the inlet hose coming from the wall to the stool valve (under the tank usually on the left)
(3) unscrew the big plastic nut holding the valve to the tank (the nut is under the tank) ( be sure to flush the stool and get as much water out of the tank before unscrewing the nut. Get a large towel or bowl as you will have some water leak from the tank when you pull the valve out.
(4) disconnect the overflow line coming from the valve to the center line in the tank. (this is just usually a little rubber hose about 1/4" around. You are ready to go get another valve. You might take the old one with you.

I have an Elektra s1 espresso machine that is giveing me problems. I turn the machine on without any water in it, when I realised that (like an idiot) I poor same cold water in it.(the elements were...

From the User Manual:
If the machine was switched on by mistake without having filled the water circuit, the heating element safety device might have been activated.
This device protects the electric heating element against damage due to momentary overheating caused by lack of water.
Proceed as follows:
1)
Proceed as indicated in chapter "E STARTING UP THE NEW MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME".
2)
Check that the machine heats up correctly: if it does not, switch off the machine by putting the on/off button 1 to OFF and pull out the plug.
3)
Remove the yellow plastic cap located under the bottom of the machine.
4)
Insert a sharp pointed object into the hole left by the yellow cap and use it to press the small underlying button.
5)
Refit the yellow cap.
6)
Connect the plug to the power socket and switch on the machine by putting the on/off button 1 to ON. Check that the machine heats up correctly: if it still does not work properly this means that the heating element has been damaged; have the machine repaired by an ELEKTRA Service Centre. http://www.elektrasrl.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/09/CASA-USER-MANUAL-EN-0609.pdf

How do youclean the water resevoir

remove top cover; remove pouring tray via large nut in center; disconnect heating element and thermostat; remove tank lid via nuts; unscrew basket sprayhead and nut underneath. remove tank lid ***'y. dump all that water inside tank; along with all the calcium deposits on bottom. refill tank and reassemble. take care in not overtightening the tank lid nuts; as it will squash the gasket.

LG Shine Repair

Unfortunately, MOST of the time a broken screen will not be covered under the one year LG warranty.
A great site for finding phone parts is http://horizonwirelessonline.com.
You can actually order the screen yourself and replace it, or send it in to them and they will repair it for you.
