Samsung TV Power Supply Board

I left my Plasma Samsung HPT4264 unplugged for a couple of weeks while on a trip and apparently humidity damaged the Power Supply so the TV does not work anymore. Does anyone know the Part # of the Power Unit Board I should look for. Thanks!!!

I doubt that moisture damaged the SMPS bd.
There are many circuit boards in your set and it will take a trained samsung tech to find the problem.

I have a Samsung plasma hpt4264 that turns on perfect. Pic run for 5min to hours then shut off leave it sit starts up all solder joints on psu look good and voltage is good any suggestions

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts...

Repair or Junk my Samsung UN55C6500VF TV?

Hi William,
Not necessary to junk your TV. Damages due to lightning are extensive at times but from what you have mentioned it appears that may be it is only the power supply board which has gone bad and rest of the TV is ok. Replacing power board may restore your TV.
Good Luck.

My tv starts making a distorted picture then turns off about every 15 minutes

What type Flat Panel TV is this? LCD? Plasma? Rear projection? This information would go a long way towards determining the probable cause.

However, a first diagnosis is that there is apparently a circuit overheating.

I've found that on some of the lower cost brands, the manufacturer does not test them well enough to cover all climates, or long enough to determine weak circuit design flaws. Unfortunately, it usually means a trip to the repair shop, which these days can be a high percentage of the replacement TV cost.

If you are willing to try, and can be CAREFUL, you can open it, clean out any accumulated dust/dirt (which can exacerbate overheating), possibly check (unplug/replug/wiggle) all connections between boards/modules. This may clean a dirty contact if it's gotten a tiny bit corroded or dirty (usually on older sets, or high humidity or high smoke environments)

WARNING - the power supply in any TV set will retain dangerous voltages even after unplugging. I'd recommend to unplug it, wait no less than 24 hours before delving inside it.

Never attempt to supply AC power to a set that has the back cover off... lethal voltages ARE present during operation, yes even in LCD TV's.

Magnavox 50 plasma Model # 50MF231D dead no power. no lights what so ever. Left unpluged for 2 days and still nothing. Looked at power supply board and no apparent damage to capacitors

Well, if you are going to troubleshoot it, what voltages do you have out of the PS and do you have 5v standby. If your not able to do this then I would take into your local service center.
