How do you loosen the belt on a LiftMaster garage opener?

Get a 1/2in open ended wrench. On the left hand side of the belt (if you face the door), there is a small spring. At the end of the small spring there is a square nut. Loosen that nut by turning counter clockwise. This will loosen the belt.

DVD door will not open and eject DVD. It says it's opening on the screen but it does not open. DVD is stuck in there

Hello
Either its loading belt in the DVD mechanism, or its loading motor has damaged. It is common that the loading belt will get loos of break. Loading belt is a small belt fasted between loadin motor to loading gear mechanism. Replace the same first. You have to open your TV and pull out the DVD mechanism outside for repair. If replacement of loading belt doesn't help, loading motror is faulty, and should be replaced. OK.

Disc tray will not open. I've turned on &off several times and it won`t open the tray. tries to but won`t open

This problem is caused by a loose drive belt in the eject mechanism, you need to open the ps2 and replace the drive belt...

Take off the top cover, then take off the cover from the top of the dvd drive mech... then carefully remove the disc tray and you should see the belt near the front. Replace that belt and it should work fine again

On a couple of rare occasions the drive motor has been found to be faulty, but usually replacing the belt will fix it

My belt broke on my model 139.655000 sears robust automatic garage door opener. I have misplaced the belt and don't know the length of the belt to buy a replacement. Do you know the belt i need?

The part number for this belt is STD303310 and is available from Sears for $4.49. I would almost bet you that any good door opener service company in the yellow pages would have one on the shelf.

What's the easiest way to open up a dlb6850 dryer to check the belt?

Unplug the dryer.
The easiest way to check the belt is remove the plate on the lower rear of the dryer. Look in to see if the belt is attached around the pulley wheel.
The only way to change the belt is to remove the screws in the front panel. Open the door. Look up in the door opening and remove these screws. Then you can raise the lid.
If the belt needs changing you must remove the 2 screws in the top right and left sides of the front panel.Just inside the front panel. Then disconnect the door switch wires and remove the front panel.
Slip the belt over the drum. Then open the lower rear panel to reach in to put the belt around the tension pulley.

1990 subaru driverside seat belt will not work

the body computer runs the belt motor in response to the door open/close plunger switch. Check the instrument closter to see if it also thinks the door is open. If it thinks the door is open, fix the switch. If not, then troubleshoot the power to the belt motor drive or the motor drive itself.
