Obviously, the easy thing is to make sure a little "wiggle" of the remote doesn't help. The remote should beep when it successfully touches the contacts on the charge cradle. If it doesn't beep, check to make sure the contacts (on both the remote and cradle) are clean and straight. Also, remove the battery from the remote and check that the contacts on the battery (and internal to the remote) are also clean and have decent spring pressure on the battery. If all of these check out fine, it's possible there is a broken or loose connection between the charge contacts on the bottom of the remote and the circuit board inside. In that case, an in-warranty return would be in order. There have been reports of some cradles having contacts that are set deeper into the plastic, making it harder for the remote contacts to touch them.

Mi batery for nokia e71 stay no longer than 12 hours

The battery probably needs to be de-sulphated and fully recharged. If this does not fix the problem, then you need a new battery. Go to your local Auto Electrician and heave him check the battery and alternator.

How to charge new battery in my laptop

as i do not know what laptop we are talking about here i asume its not a notebook
if it is the time is slightly lower (6-8 hours)
a normal lap top 10 - 12 hours.
some super batery laptops come with an own (long) guide how to keep the batery alive.

to keep the batery alive a long period of time charge it from 50% not when its at critical.

If u can take out the batery when you are using cable and its fully charged it also has a longer life time. or just take out the cable when its at 100% and recharge it when it gets to 50%

dont have your computer in the lap it can over heat the computer/batery and the lifte time gets even lower.

Remote not charging?

the battery can be charged whenever you want to charge it. There may be an issue with the cradle. can you please follow steps below and reply back with the answers?

1) Ensure the cradle is plugged into an active AC outlet and the LED light on the cradle is on. There is a switch on the bottom of the cradle to control the brightness of the LED, set it to the highest. Try different outlets if needed. Does the LED light turn on and stay on (does not blink)?
2) Remove the battery. Place the remote on the cradle and check the LCD screen. The LCD screen should display a 'White' screen with possible colors before going off. Try this a few times to confirm behavior. Did the LCD turn on briefly?
3) Reinsert the Battery. Have you charged the battery for at least 3 hours? If no, please recharge the batteries for at least 3 hours.
4) Did the battery ever boot the remote? If yes, please continue troubleshooting.
5) Remove the battery. Check the 3 gold contacts on the battery to see if there are markings on all the contacts signifying it was connected correctly to the remote. Did the battery have markings on all 3 contacts?

RCA headphones - nicad or alkaline batteries WHP141

Your wireless headphone unit requires two rechargeable AAA batteries.
Rechargeable batteries are uncharged when you purchase them. Before
you can use the wireless headphones, the batteries must be charged for
16 hours. Follow these steps to install and charge the batteries.
Installing the Rechargeable Batteries
Take care to follow these steps to correctly install the batteries.
1. On the right headphone, locate the battery compartment (1).
Use the finger depression on the compartment to turn the battery
compartment cover counterclockwise to remove the cover.
2. Insert two AAA rechargeable batteries, carefully following the
markings inside to ensure the batteries are inserted properly, with
the + and - ends in the correct positions.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Charging the Rechargeable Batteries
To recharge the headset unit, follow the directions below. Note: The
cradle/transmitter on the WHP141 is not a recharging cradle, although
you may place the headset in the cradle during recharging.
Follow these steps to recharge the NiMH rechargeable batteries.
1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (2), located on the right headphone,
is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the AC/DC main power adapter to the DC IN power
supply socket (11), located on the back of the cradle/transmitter.
3. Plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
4. Connect the charging cable (10), located on the back of the
cradle/transmitter to the recharging input (3), located on the right
headphone. The headphones can either be placed in the
cradle/transmitter or placed next to the unit. If the headphones are
connected correctly, the charging LED indicator light on the
cradle/transmitter (8) illuminate.

2008 toyota avalon dead batery

There sounds to be a problem with your alternator. If the car went dead every few hours or week I'd say its the battery. But if the car lasts 3 months between problems, then you're battery is a champ despite fighting a losing battle.  Do you ever take long trips that coincide with this problem? If your battery isn't recharging then it could drain to dead on a longer trip.  There could also be an electrical problem like a bad ground that only shorts bad every once in a while. Read the voltage when the battery is connected to the car with everything off and then again when the battery is disconnected from the car. Also, have you had the alternator checked? Have you inspected the engine for bad grounds? Have you tried buying one of those battery saver devices? Hope this helps.
