Go to Options, then the Advanced tab, you'll see a box that says "Check my spelling as I type".
Go ahead and check it. :)
Let me know if that helped.

Try to go to Tools -> Option -> Advanced -> and check the “Check My Spelling As I Type” and see if that works

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I want spellcheck on facebook

Try using Chrome or Firefox, both do spell check on all input, VERY handy, and as well they provide correct spellings, like Word.

Fixyu spell checker not working.

I know Firefox has a built-in spellchecker. I don't know which version of IE has that feature... if you're using IE make sure you've updated to the newest version. If that doesn't work I would just install Firefox.

Spellcheck does not work correctly in my yahoo e-mail account. It will underline the misspelled word but will not allow you to click on the correctly spelled word and insert it.

it is probably a glitch in your internet browser, try using a nother, IE. if your using Internet Explorer try on Firefox, if the problem persists it might be a problem on Yahoo's End

I am very grateful for the Mozilla Spell check add-on (British) but there is one word which it does not correct when typed out incorrectly - expelined or explanied (instead of explained), there is another...

persdict.dat [a text file that opens in notepad] that's located in the profile folder of your Firefox installation.
For Windows Vista - %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxx.default
For Windows XP - C:\documents and settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxx.default\persdict.dat holds the personal dictionary entries used by the spell checker that you added manually through web forms and input fields. Shut down Firefox and open the persdict.dat file using Notepad or any text editor.

The spell checker and spell check as you type does not work.

I use this when I need to doublecheck my spelling
cut/paste your document into the spellchecker; and then paste the correction back into your document

1. In Firefox goto the menu bar "Help" then click "Check for updates".
or
2. Browse to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ to download the latest and install it.
