Hi 2 days ago, my phone stopped vibrating, so i tried lookng an answer up, and one solution was resetting it, i pressed the code (didnt know it was for resetting the phone!) so i lose some settings (like the key tone, message tone, etc) but for some reason i lost all the messages on my sim card as well!
so my question is, is there a way to get my SMS messages back, its 200 messages, and i guess my vibration problem is hardware, true?
Hi Rayan. Yes I'm afraid its a Hardware problem, or maybe you changed the settings and put off vibration accidentally. If its a hardware problem it can be repaired under $8. I'm afraid theres no way to get your sms back. Please rate!!!
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi, well i guess you have tried setting the settings and turned it off? if not then well do that, however IF it is not that and you cannot stop it, try a factory reset, then you will have to set the phone up all again but if it works it is a small price to pay? In any event if it will NOT stop vibrating, then you have a microprocessor fault, and the phone will have to be repaired or replaced? If so you need to take it into an LG phone repairer and ask for a "Quote" as to what it may cost, and go from there.
i had some troule with lint (odd i know) getting stuck where the vibrate moto spings, press the button to release the battery cover, take that off, then continue to press the button to the battery cover and try to slide the top half of the back up, it should come off, just like the battery cover, this will expose the whole back of the phone, the vibrating thing is near the top left
you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried
I can see where this feature can seem somewhat inconsistent. But if you think of it like a phone ringing, it is easier to understand. Once you have answered the phone, the phone stops ringing. And the person who called you never experiences a ring on their end.
Page 26: VibraCall is a vibrating alert that notifies you that your radio is receiving a message. This is useful in noisy environments. When the alert is on, the radio
vibrates once every 30 seconds when you receive a message on the channel and
code you set.
• To turn vibrating alerts on, press menu until the vibrating radio symbol is displayed, then press the plus (+) button to display the letter Y for Yes.
• To turn vibrating alerts off, press menu until the vibrating radio symbol is displayed, then press the minus (-) button until the minus symbol (-) is displayed.
my phone barely got wet at all but wont stop viberating either.everthing else works fine. i set it on a table to go on the computer and the viberating just stopped and i dont know why but right after that it just started viberating again. i got some tips from some other people that didnt work 4 me but it might work 4 u. u could try doing a master reset which just taking out the battery when the phone is on and it resets or u can try blowing on the battery in case it somehow got some dust on it.
welll there is a way to stop your problem -if on the side of your phone there is an arrow going up and down you can adjust it that way and put it on your volume control also if u go into the sounds men you will most likely see application volume once you press that you will see 1. sound 2. vibrator if it is in the on mode go to off and that will take care of your problem
