The RF jack can maybe resoldered back on providing that no other damage has occurd to the tuner or circuit bd. If you are not cormfortable doing this then consult with a local repair shop.

No TV broadcast picture. Is this a tuner problem?

yes it does seem to be a tuner problem , I also wonder what happens when you use the auto channel finder and tuner usually found in the set up section of the menu ? As well as was your TV working before and receiving input via the antennae but has now stopped working in this regard ? I also noted that attaching an analog to digital converter box worked fine , so your TV is capable of receiving a signal via that method , dose the converter box use your antennae input jack or a video jack to send the converted signal into your TV ? if it is using your antennae jack then it may not be a tuner problem .

My antenna jack on a marantz sr5500 broke. how do i replace it and where can i find one

If you still have the connector and if your Tuners board is not broken, you can solder it back on if you are careful. If not replace the whole tuner.

THE FEED-THRU CONNECTOR ON THE VCR IS BAD, HOW CAN I REPLACE IT, IT APPEARS TO BE ATTACHED TO A LONG NARROW SILVER COMPONENT OF SOME KIND

Hello; This is the threaded RF connector or F connector. It is part of the Tuner or even more rare an RF isolator. In either case the tuner or other must be replaced. I have replaced the connector alone, but it very difficult since soldering the jack back onto the tuner chassis causes the plastic insulator inside the jack to melt. The only way is to run a stream of freon through the jack while soldering is done. _ VERY expensive! Tuners for VCR's are near impossible to get now. You may also be able to use your separate A / V input jacks depending on your equipment , and not even need to use the tuner! John

The box on the back of tv that the coax cable turns onto is broken. Can we go buy a cable peice and just solder it back on or do we need to order the whole little box?

You can buy the RF jack and solder it back onto the tuner as long as the tuner has not been damaged beyond repair. Inside the tuner the center conductor from the jack solders into the printed circuit board. If any small parts are broken or missing then you will have to replace the tuner.

Vhf/uhf jack broken

You can try to attempt to solder it back on, but the metal is thick and hard to get it to stick with a solder iron..

Most likely you should get a new tuner, which depending on your expertise, may require a pro.

You can take your model number to www.partstore.com and search for your tuner and order it.

Otherwise look to spend between 200 to 275 bucks for a pro to do it.

Cable connector broken

You can buy replacement antenna jacks for this. What you have to do is remove the tuner and it's shields, then unsolder the little tab off the board of the tuner which is what remains when they break off. Then you can resolder the new jack in place and the center pin back to the board of the tuner.

Broken jack

Sanyo has support for their products. You will have to find out who the authorised service rep is in your area. They may have to change the tuner module if the connector is part of the tuner if there is a lot of internal damage. Some models of sets have a secondary module outside of the tuner where the connector is mounted. This would be lower in cost to service.

Unless you are experienced in TV service, I do not suggest that you try to service this yourself.

Rf jack

You need an 800 degree soldering iron. It is advisable to tke this to a repair shop. A qualified echnician may bae able to repair the turner without further damaing. It is likely if you try to do this yourself the tuner will be damaged to the pint that it will have to be replaced which will mor than double your repair cost.

Broken RF Connector

Its fixable. the question is how much of the inside broke with it. cost for repair on that usually averages 45 to 65 dollars... unless tuner is damaged in most cases not. if not hooked to tuner then maybe a new isolation block..simple job Good luck
