It could be the connectors on the high pressure switch above the a/c compressor..or the A/C might need gassing...could be a fuse...wouldn`t think it is a hose ..also you could check the inlet/outlet pipes on particle filter..(passenger side rear of engine bay black cylinder) should be warm and cold but not frozen..if it is frozen while a/c is running then is probably that the high pressure switch was disconnected.

Check out the coolant in the box.is it properly filled or end.also check out if the gas bottle is properly tight and nothing is loose.also check if the air is getting leaked from any where between gas bottle pipe to coolant from under the front of the car.also check out if compressor is getting hot .if the fan is not spinning the fan is the problem.but if fan is spinning then also hot the compressor is faulty.this has to be checked.most probably as the systoms you have mentioned the compressor is looking faulty as its blowing harder but not much cooling is coming. get all this checked. this will help. Please do rate the solution. Thank you for using fixya.keep updated. thanks

2001 dodge 1500 pickup. The air conditioning

It sounds like a low charge. It could be a clogged expansion device also. It has a higher probability of being a low or contaminated charge.

Air conditioner doesn't blow with much force

Refrigerant is not your problem!!!!!!!!

Your recycle door has broken off and fallen over the suction duct to your blower. You can verify this by removing the blower under the dash on the passenger side. Reach up into the duct and if there is a plastic door obstructing the duct, it has broken off. With a little manuvering you can remove the broken door through this hole and you will have air again, just no control of inside or outside air. Dodge has redesigned the housing for this recycle door which is supposed to stop this from happening. The redesigned housing and door come as a unit from Dodge for about $30.00 and this includes the electric actuator. This requires removing the Dash to change the housing so if your not ready for several hours work, take it to a mechanic.

The heater is blowing cold but the engine temperature reads high

Hi
I would first check to see if both heater hoses are hot to the heater.
if 1 is hot and 1 is cold the heater control valve is closed or the heater core is plugged.
