Testimonial: "Thank you, but there is nowhere in settings to turn it off. I have now managed to get rid of it by putting it on the 'drive' profile."

Epson Projector S05 text is shodow

If the text on your Epson EB-S05 projector is appearing blurry or shadowed, there are several possible causes and solutions to consider:
  1. Check the focus: Make sure the projector is in focus by adjusting the focus ring. If the text still appears blurry, try adjusting the position of the projector or the screen.
  2. Check the resolution: If the input resolution of your projector does not match the native resolution of your display or screen, the text may appear blurry or shadowed. Check the resolution settings on both your projector and your device to make sure they match.
  3. Check the cables: If the cables connecting your projector to your device are old or damaged, they may cause interference or display issues. Try replacing the cables with new ones and see if that improves the text clarity.
  4. Check the lamp: If the lamp on your projector is old or damaged, it may cause the image to appear dim or blurry. Check the lamp hours and replace the lamp if necessary.
  5. Check the settings: Make sure that the brightness, contrast, and other settings on your projector are properly adjusted. Experiment with different settings to find the optimal image quality.
If none of these solutions work, it may be necessary to consult the Epson customer support or to take the projector to a professional technician for repair.

How to change text size in Internet Explorer

Some web sites use larger text while others use small, hard-to-read text. To change the size of text that appears on a web page in Internet Explorer, follow one of the two procedures below.<br /> <br /> <b>To change text size:</b><br /> <br /> To make the text that is displayed in your web browser larger or smaller, click View on Internet Explorer's menu bar. From the drop-down menu, select Text Size. The five choices for text size will appear: Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, and Smallest. Medium is selected by default, but you can choose the size that you want. To change to a different size, just go back to the View menu and choose a new size.<br /> <br /> Internet Explorer saves the selection that you make. If you load a new web page, or close and reopen your browser, the text size will remain at the level that you've chosen, until you choose differently.<br /> <br /> <b>To zoom:</b><br /> <br /> Another way to alter text size is to use the Zoom feature. Zoom increases or decreases text size, but it will also make everything else on the page (such as graphics) larger or smaller as well. Zoom options can be found under the View menu, next to Zoom. You can choose a preset percentage to zoom, or enter a custom value, or just go larger or smaller by stepped increments.<br /> <br /> The nice thing about zoom is that it has keyboard shortcuts associated with it, unlike the Text Size feature. By pressing [CTRL][+] you can zoom in (make everything appear larger) and [CTRL][-] will zoom out. If you want to reset the zoom value back to the standard view, press [CTRL][0]. These shortcuts will affect text size, but only in proportion with everything else on the page.<br /> <br /> Some web sites (such as Yahoo) are designed so that the Text Size feature won't override the text size specified in the site's code. For sites like these, you can use the Zoom feature to enlarge or reduce text size.

Remember how desktop looked like in XP with 800x600 resolution? Everything was big - fonts, icons, browser, documents... Now have Win7 with 1920x1080 resolution. It used to be fine, then another user

Everywhere? If you change DPI, you change the appearance of everything everywhere. (The Home edition of Windows 7 does not contain "Personalize.") Only a change in DPI will affect the appearance of everything.

But without changing DPI, you can do the following.
Right click on a blank area on the desktop and choose screen resolution. Click Make text and other items larger or smaller. You have some choices in the radio buttons or you can try a custom setting. These won't affect images but will affect icon and text appearance size.

Here are a few other things you can tinker with to get a view you like.

1) In the procedure you have described, when you get to ITEM,, choose more of the selection from the drop down list, then reboot.
OR, 2) Click on an open area in a web page. Hold the Control button down, roll the scroll wheel atop your mouse. 3) in the RUN box of Windows 7, type cttune and hit enter. Walk through this ClearTypeTuner procedure and you can at least have an easy go at adjusting readability to your liking. If you change your mind, you can always change the settings back. It does allow you to see how the font would look. --I have not mentioned the Magnifier option...

In brief, your monitor probably came with its best resolution set up. But you can use the "tricks" above to alter the appearance of sizes. You just may find readability diminishes.

I've tried everything, can't get sounds for in coming texts

go to your settings. click on sound. here you should find a notification option and set which ringtone you would like. make sure that you go back to your sound settings or caller settings to make sure the volume is actually turned on for incoming text messages. the reason you might not be getting them is because you have it default in your phone to keep them silent. just browse your setting options for sound or calls where you will find a "volume" option. select that and slide your notification sound over to whatever level you like! hope you found this helpful!

How can I stop the bleep tone when I am creatng a text message? Do I have to put the phone on silent mode every time?

You can adjust the volume and change the sound it makes. To adjust the volume, press the menu button, then go to "Settings & Tools". Under Settings & Tools, select "Sounds Settings" (it should be #4). Then select "Keypad Volume" (should also be #4). If you want the noise completely gone, scroll down until it says "off" and press ok. If you were talking about something else, let me know. Hope this helps!

My screen resolution is not like it's supposed to be.

The native resolution of you monitor is 1440x900. If you previously had it set at a lower resolution (say 1280 x 720) the text would appear larger than it does now. You can change the appearance of internet explorer by using the Zoom function (Ctrl +).

Text message alerts

In PhoneStart-->Settings and Sounds&Notifications, you can set each notification sound/light/vibration setting for several different things on the phone.

If you want to disable the message after sending an SMS message, go to : http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/ppc6700hacks.shtml

and install that on your phone for MANY more options. Your SMS message notification disable is the first option on the program!
