Question about Compaq Armada 3500 Notebook
In Windows,(Win98SE) the screen size is fine. In Display I have the ability to regulate the size and resolution and all functions are normal. However, when I boot into DOS Prompt only, at the start up menu, I get a screen size approx. only 2/3 the size it should be. For some reason, access to the CMOS Settings in the BIOS is not available. Holding keys down while booting does not force a BIOS event.
I cannot get into CMOS Setup to see if there is an Expanded Screen Option. HP has a Mobile Setting Disk available, although it has been difficult getting it on a floppy disk, I was able to make one copy which is rejected by the operating system as "Not a valid Win32 Bit file."
Press alt and enter key at the same time
also you can press f2 to get into the cmos
or unplug your hdrive and start this might get u in
