Ok - let's back up a little bit.. Do you have a forced hot air furnace? Does it run either oil or natural gas (or liquid propane)? Do you have a chimney or power vent?

Water heater for vengeance 25v

Should be attached to manifold /lines from propane tanks. When propane tanks are on, it should be getting propane unless someone added a shut-off in line to it.

My propane storage compartment smells like propane and my regulator freezes up but there are no apperent leaks

You store propane in a compartment? Propane MUST have ventilation or it will collect in there and explode. If you smell propane the re there IS a leak, turn off your tank and do not close that compartment up.

When temp is below freezing furnace will not ignite. Fan will turn on but there's no combustion. eventually it kicks on but shuts down after a few min. We only have this problem in the really cold temps.

Check the condensate drain lines in the furnace. disconnect the power and remove the cover. Remove the black drain lines and flush and clean with a water and clorox solution. Then check the rest of your condensate drain line for blockage. the blockage is freezing and causing the furnace to shut down for a pressure problem.

Its more likely than not, if its propane its air in the lines, gaS VALVES DO NOT GO BAD VERY OFTEN, so make sure you have plenty of propane, then purge it then light it, should be fine then i would think

OK. The pilot is burning. Does the gas valve come on into the venturi tube? If not, Bad thermostat or bad gas valve.

Dometic/Duotherm propane furnace won't fire up

If this unit has a spark ignition you may just need to clean the flame sensor. It is a metal rod protruding in the path of the flame.

It seems when the unit is covered with this dirt n grime the auto cut off engages to prevent damage and/or possible fire. After a through cleaning I grabbed for the blanket that evening. Been on 12 hours now and gosh the room is cool,
