Wont print in full black, does print in grey or any other colour.

When printing spread sheet the sheet header prints, cell borders print, cell background print but all cell text is white and only seen in cells with background. However if you e-mail it to yourself it prints OK. Text documents do the same thing.

Assuming you are using MS Excel, try going into page setup, sheet, and check the setting for 'print black & white'. If it is checked, then try unchecking it.

The printer in question is the Epson Stylus Office T1100 (A3) attached to iMac & OX El Capitan.

The printer has been deleted and reinstalled and all new ink cartridges installed.
Documents are Apple Pages and Numbers spreadsheet.

Asta powerprojects how do I change headers and footers

You can adjust the header and foot by accessing the "Full Print Preview". Go to File, Print and then Full Print Preview. The ribbon buttons will allow you to modify the fields included and add information based on the border file template used. Hope that helps.

There was bits of paper, from a stuck edge from a sheet of business cards that I think are perhaps still in the printer. When I print a colour sheet the alignment is off, printing black and white seems OK.

What do you mean by alignment?
If you mean that the colours are misaligned, run a full calibration. Repeat it three times and then try your printing.
If bits of the business cards were left in the printer - it should affect the colour printing as well as B + W. You would also be getting paper jams.

The color prints sheet is coloring light purple instead of grey. I check the black ink but is still half full.

grey is often made up of all the colours, so if the greys are purple it would be the Yellow missing or not printing completely. Try a printer head clean.

Black ink not working

Print out a test print to see what comes out. If the printer is printing the black and colour blocks then the printer should be OK. If not then check the black and colour inks to make sure they are OK and remove each of the cartridges and reinstall them. Then run a full cleaning cycle and reprint the test sheet. Keep doing this until all the inks are printing OK. Then run an alignment test making sure that there is plain white paper in the paper tray and adjust the printer as necessary.

HP 2600n grey background

Most Original cartridges are starter cartridges that hold only 1/3-3/4 ink. Drum maybe defective, and this usually causes the grey or black in your printing. Cartridges may need replacement along with the drum. Hopefully this helps

Print alignment failed / have tried to rectify several times

It seems like it may be a hardware problem, but the best bet for you would be to reinstall the printer drivers. It should fix it,

My hp deskjet 1280 will not print yellow

Hello, this is Harry from www.BusinessSpread.co.uk.
We had the exact same problem when printing, we used 3 different 78 colour ink cartages and they all said 100% full but did not work. We then had a look at the dates on the box and they were all expired so when buying ink from anywhere even PC world or Curry’s always look at the expiry date.
Today I went to PC world and purchased a new 78 ink which said expires July 2011 and it works perfectly fine.

Printer is refusing to print colour, with full colour ink tank.

Have you checked the ink levels in your cartridges? Ink can dry due to usage and also due to prolonged non usage.

Printer will not print black ink

Seems to be a common fault with Kodak EasyShare 5100/5300

Contact Kodak Support and go though the following tests:

Remove and re-seat Printer Cartridge(s) - Done

Clean Printhead - Done

Calibrate Printer - Test Sheet Not Complete!

Run Computer Colour Test - Done

They will then send you a new Print Head.
