Question about Acer AL2016W 20" LCD Monitor
I lose the red color on the screen for long durations. Occasionally it pops back in and stays for awhile, then I lose it again. Very anoying. Cable and pins are ok. No adjustments seem to make any difference.
Good day sir, you are right I may say, the loss of red will cause the screen to go blue, the cable that connects to the lcd and mainboard usually has 3 wires, red green and blue, my guess is the red wire isnt connected properly. there are two terminals one on the LCD and one on the mainboard. better check both side of that cable. It may be caused by cold solder joints, due to the fact that it pops up occasionally, sad to say that any adjustments wont work. unless it is fixed. hope this may help. if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask again. thanks.
