HI NENITA, Did you try these codes--> 024, 040, 098

Setting Steps: Input Code
1.) Find out the 3-digit code for the TV that you need to control from the "Code list" In case there are several groups of codes available, please use the first group at first; in case that your TV brand has no matching code in the code list, please try the "Search For the Correct Code" mode described later.

2.) Press and hold the "Setting" button at first, then press the "Power" button. Release both buttons after the indicator light illuminates, indicating the status of code input; in case the indicator light is in other status, it indicates that it's yet to enter the code input status, and this step shall be repeated till the light illuminates.

3.) Input sequentially the 3-digit code that you have obtained. The indicator light flashes once when one digit is input. After the input of the code, the indicator light extinguishes; in case indicator light flashes twice successively, it indicates that your input is wrong and you need to input again.

Note: In case the indicator light keeps illuminating after two flashes, you only need to input the correct 3-digit code and do not repeat Step 2, otherwise Step shall be repeated for resetting.

4.) When the Indicator light extinguishes, the setting ends, then you can remotely control your TV with the remote controller.

Need 4 digit remote code for LG LV5500 led Tv to input into TIVO remote as it's not listed in the TIVO library

Hello
Just do a code search process, and see whether it can help you. As there is no codes listed for LG with Tivo remote, this is the only thing to get it. If this does not help you to get any code, there is no other way than buying an other universal remote, which has codes listed for LG.
Code search process
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.
OK.

I have a 42pc3d LG plasma and the remote controls will not operate the TV. I have the original remote and a universal remote which use to control the TV and the dvr but now neither remote works on the TV....

Hi,
if your TV warranty is not out of date then claim a new one..however it takes many days to process
so I recommend you to troubleshoot your universal remote controller
i assume that you are using RCA universal controller
1. Press and hold CODE SEARCH until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release CODE
SEARCH.
2. Press and release the device button for the device’s code you are retrieving (TV,VCR or
DBS•CABLE). The INDICATOR LIGHT will blink once then remain lit.
Note: For AUX, press DVD•AUX then the device button for the code you are retrieving.
3. Press and release CODE SEARCH. The INDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.
4. Starting with 0 on the keypad, press the number buttons in order (0-9) until the
INDICATOR LIGHT blinks.
5. The number which causes the INDICATOR LIGHT to blink is the first digit of your code.
6. Repeat step 4 until you have retrieved all three numbers in code..

RCA: 004, 005, 006, 012, 019 ,056, 057, 058, 155, 156, 171, 172
if it fails buy and try ge universal remote

NOTE
:
it is a good to note down down your code
