If your tv is within the one year warranty period, I suggest you call 1-800-Samsung to schedule a service appointment and ask that they send out a Samsung Field Engineer and not an ASC (Local tv shop). The Field engineer is alot better trained and well equiped to diagnose and repair your set.

Do yourself a big favor and just replace the TV, replacing parts is just to costly and in most cases it doesn't fix the problem.

Samsung pn50a450 plasma TV turned off by itself

first unplug it for 10 min then retry it. otherwise it is the power supply, the low voltage and high voltage supply are on the same board, have your tech send it in to be rebuilt if he is unable to do it him or her self.

Samsung HP-R5052 Plasma TV

It related with Power Board(50%) or Y-Main(50%).
But, if you use the power bar with surge protacton, need to check
the power bar's lamp when the TV is turning on & off.

AKAI 32" LCD HDTV WILL NOT TURN ON

The only solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
I service these power supplies, for more info write to jah2mil@hotmail.com
