Yes thee is a plug to add fluid it is a 1/2 hole near the shatf tines ot on the housing, fill with 120 weight gear oil, you will have a 1/2 plug sticking out or a sqaure hole that a 1/2 ratchet will fit in and you can unscrew it counter clockwise and fill it to full lever, this means stich your forfinger into the hole till your at you first knuckle on you finger bend it down and test for oil when it touches your finger it it full.

1999 Honda Odyssey will not engage Reverse. Engages all forward gears

Park you car on a level surface. Set the parking brake on you car; start the engine and let it get to full operating temperature; pop the hood and while the engine is running, check the transmission fluid by pulling out the transmission dipstick. Wipe off the dipstick, reinsert it into the dipstick tube all the way down, then pull it out again and check the fluid level.
As you check the fluid level, observe the fluids' color; any discoloration, other than a bright red color, means the transmission is going bad, especially if the fluid smells burnt.
If the fluid passes the visual and smell test, make sure the transmission fluid level is within or between the fill and full marks. If you need to add transmission fluid, make sure you use the right type based on the car manufacturer's specs which are located in your car's owner's manual. In absence of one, call your local dealership or parts store, they can easily look it up free of charge. Of course if the level is low, add a little fluid at a time through the dipstick tube while the car is running- checking the fluid level frequently.
Then check the PCM for any DTCs; are you pulling any fault codes?
If there is damage to the bands, clutches, or solenoids, a tear down and rebuild of the transmission will have to be done; and it is costly

How to fix code p0731ford expedition 2005

Please note that these are just GUESSES from a shade tree mechanic . I do not claim to be a professional anything . Use my guesses at your own risk ! That being said , here is a place to start looking ...
Since the code refers to automatic transmissions , and gear ratios , I would certainly start by checking your car's transmission level . In most cars , the transmission fluid should be at full temperature . So , sometime , after you have been driving for 10 minutes or so , park somewhere LEVEL . Put the transmission in PARK . Pull the transmission dip stick , wipe it off with a paper towel , shop rag , or something appropriate . Reinsert it to the bottom . Pull it again , and read where the fluid level is .
If it is low , add the fluid SLOWLY . A PINT , or less at a time . Transmissions CAN be over filled . In MANY , if not most cars , the transmission fluid is added via the dip stick tube . ( This seems illogical to me , and you have to wait a while after every add , so the fluid drains fully out of the dip stick tube before you can get a good reading , but , OH WELL !!! )
GOOD LUCK !

Transmission doesn't engage

Try changing the fluid and filter. Use the approved Mopar fluid and not the cheap stuff.

Powerglide transmission

Ouch...sat too long and the transmission fluid is probably like molasses... Try pulling the tranny pan, dump the fluid, clean the pan and change the filter and refill with DEXRON fluid. Also add some SeaFoam transmission additive. Start it up and when engine is at operating tempuature, SLOWLY put it in all gears. Shift back and forth, back and forth (with your foot on the brake !). Hopefully the new fluid and the SeaFoam will clean up the internal parts. If and whne the car is driveable, drive about 100 miles and then dump the fluid, filter and refill. Add another can of SeaFoam. Hope this helps....
Good Luck

How to add transmission fluid to 2007 susuki forenza?

THERE WILL BE A DIPSTICK FOR THE TRANSMISSION IF IT IS AUTOMATIC! STANDARD WILL BE A SERVICE PLUG ON THE SIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION! IF IT IS AUTOMATIC, PULL THE DIPSTICK OUT, PLACE A LONG TUBE FUNNEL IN THE DIPSTICK HOLE, AND SLOWLY ADD THE FLUID, CHECKING TO BE SURE YOU DON'T OVERFILL IT! YOU MAY HAVE TO ADD A LITTLE, AND REPLACE THE DIPSTICK, TILL YOU REACH THE FULL MARK! BE SURE YOU ARE ON LEVEL GROUND!

The Dipstick is located just under the Mass Air Sensor. You'll have easier access by taking out the air box.

How do i add transmission fluid to my 1996 camry?

If you have a dipstick under your hood for the tranny fluid, then fill it in there slowly... if not, you'll need to fill it through the filler plug that will be on the side of the transmission just above the halfway point

Where is the fill plug you remove to add transmission fluid to a 6 cylinder automatic transmission

From what I know... there isnt a "plug" for the transmission fluid. You use the transmission dipstick to add fluid into the tube. Simply place the opening of the container of fluid against the dipstick and pour slowly.. the fluid should run down the dipstick into the tube. good luck
