Get the Alpine KCA 420i adapter. I've had it for about 3 years and no problems. You can install the module anywhere and run the wire for the ipod just about anywhere. You can go through all of your ipod folders on the headunit. However, you will find out quickly that it can be a pain using the Alpine headunit interface tiresome on the CDA 9830 model and others similar from a few years back. I don't know if other head units have solved this issue.

I need a pin out diagram for a 1999 Delco indash radio model # 09377120. I pretty much have the speakers figured out but need to know the heavy red, yellow and orange/wt. stripe. I can get the radio working but need to know specificly what the heavy wires are for. This radio is in a motorcycle and was wired incorrectly to begin with.

My sub output RCA is not sending a signal to my amplifier. I have an alpine CDA 9831 head unit and I cannot find the function to turn the sub RCA on. Everything is wired correctly, the amplifier is powering up, RCA connection is using high end, low interference wiring, there just appears to be no signal feed. Second amplifier running mid's and highs is recieving signals fine, all speakers connected to that amplifier are running perfectly, it is just the sub's that are not kicking. Could you please explain how I turn that signal feed on?
