Question about ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf Notebook
This shouldn't be your problem; if the unit is new, go back to the source from which it came and let them deal with it. Any new machine should start without that kind of problem. Since it is missing a critical file, you may not be able to start it in the so-called 'Safe mode.'
