Question about Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray Player
I was watching "The Unborn" and I paused in the middle of the movie and did not turn off the P1500. The next day I hit play and the P1500 read "No Disc". I tried 3 different blu-ray movies that had worked previously with the same result. It even said " Cannot read disc". The system will play DVD's, but not Blu-ray. Can anyone help with this issue?
It seems that samsung is posting it's firm updates online @ samsung.com i had same problem with my BD-UP5000 its connected to the internet when i go to the menue to update on the bluray player it said i had the latest update went online and found a new firmware on there web site, check samsung web site

I have the exact same problem and cannot find any relevant info online. This happened after I've upgraded to the latest firmware ( & yes it was done correctly)...
I'm ready to bail out on this player, return it and switch to a pioneer...
