I have a DVD camcorder DC220, and would like to copy the DVD to my hard disk, and then edit it. However, I can not even detect any file when connecting it to my PC. Could you please help me?

Edit and transfer to DVD

I use Handbrake ( http://handbrake.fr ) to turn the minidvd files into Mpeg4 files. I have a canon dc 220 and I hook it up to my computer with the supplied USB cable. I then copy the files onto my laptop and use Handbrake to convert them to the mpeg4 format.
