Replacement For Whirlpool AWG329 washer/dryer

Hi I wondered if anyone knew how to find out what has replaced the AWG329 in the whirlpool range? I want to replace my machine with minimal hassle so I thought perhaps the next model would have same dimensions / door panel fitting etc? Is this a valid assumption?

    thanks a lot.

looks like AWG 345/4 might be a good match.

its a shame they dont think in "replacement" terms i.e. existing customers who want to go for a direct replacement. If they thought this way they would talk about machines it have superceded and cover things like the decor panel hinge heights etc etc.

    Appreciate your time and help!

yes mine is integrated. Measuring up seems about

82cm x 60cm x 55cm (Height x Width x Depth) but cant be certain as its still integrated!

Would be cool to find whirlpools spec on the dimensions, that way I know for sure.

many thanks - this is a great help. I will see if I can track down a local showroom and measure the height of the decor door hinges to see if it will take the decor door from the current machine. The appliance is part of a fitted kitchen so this is why I am looking at this kind of detail.

    Many thanks.

Not sure if this will help, but Whirlpool has a pretty neat tool that can help you configure your laundry-room layout: LAUNDRY-ROOM LAYOUT

Ok, you are in Europe, I found your product, it is a combo Washer/Dryer. Try this page: It lists all the products. PAGE You can easily scroll down and compare dimensions for their current line, and quickly match the dimensions of your AWG329 to those.

The current AWG 345 is dim:

    AWG320: 845x595x565

    AWO/D: 820x595x540

The 4th listed there is a freestanding, I think yours is a built in.

What are the dimensions of a Whirlpool AWG 349/3-1200 integrated combo washing machine ,as I wish to order a replacement ?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but I would think that the best place to find that sort of information (rather than fixes for problems) would be on the manufacturer's web site or one of your local vendors ;-0)

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Washing machine not starting

It sounds like you could have a short in one of 3 places – the start button, the timer, or the hot/cold water solenoid.  The start button is the least likely so I’d first check out the solenoid.  Does this happen when it’s set on hot only, cold only, and/or warm water?  If so, probably you’ll have to get at the solenoid by opening up the top.  Disconnect the wires to the solenoid and try again.  If the circuit blows, it’s not the solenoid.  If it doesn’t blow, replace the solenoid.  If it’s not the solenoid, it’s probably a burned timer and you’ll have to replace that.
