Question about Abit IC7 Motherboard
IC7-G motherboard. after changing bios memory timing to aggressive on reboot getting long beep. NO DISPLAY on monitor to fix problem. Reset button doesn't help getting into BIOS
You'll need to reset the Bios.
Take the battery out inside, it's usually on the lower right of the motherboard, it looks like a watch battery.
Unplug the computer and press the power button to get rid of any extra juice from your power supply.
Wait about a minute.
Put the battery back in and plug your system in, the reset should be complete.
Some motherboards have a pin setup to reset the system. If the jumper is in (oox, x being the free pin) for example, then just switch the jumper to (xoo), turn your computer on...nothing will happen, all good.
Put the jumper back from (xoo) to (oox) and it should be reset.
Keep in mind, doing this a lot isn't good for the system. Make sure you know how to switch up the options in your BIOS.
