I have a g.e side by side fridge frezzer. everything in the fridge part frezzers. what is wrong?

Try turning the temp up by a degree in increments, if it doesn't, then there's a problem with either the compressor, or the relay and temp.

I have a ffa90 futre fridge & bottom frezzer. the fridge is frezzing the food in the door & in the fridge. have tryed water in botles & they get ice on it .in the door the food frezzers so

Find where the supply air is coming into the fridge part. It comes from the freezer and could easily be supplying -18 air direct to the door. This would give you a 2 in the fridge but anything in the direct air path could freeze.

Can you feel air moving or hear the fan running in the freezer section? You said the freezer section is freezing well, but is it freezing really hard?

My model is ARB 1914 CC nine years old.

your "damper vent door" located between the refrigerator and freezer compartments is frozen open or the cold adjustment contron in the refrige is bad and not powering the door as you change the temp set for the refrige and leaving it open,if the door is frozen from ice/frost just de-ice it with a hair dryer and then set the temp adjust and see if it opens and closes with any adjustment

Is there frost on the freezer panel? are the two motor and compressor running (freezer motor and condenser motor)? find this out 1st. this is nothing you did but if you are not mechanically incline at this point only a frig tech can properly check and tell you exactly what is it. theres are the things it might be...
compressor not working
condenser not running
freezer fan not running
thermostat not sensing temp.
stuck in defrost
heaters on too long
bi-metal shorted
timer not working
now if you paid alot for this frig at least get someone to look at it for a service call ($40-60) if it too high to repair then its time to get a new one

We bought a kenmore elite coldspot 106.59966883 and it is way too cold. The vegetable are frozen at the bottom. We need to lower the temp. How can we do this?

you dont need to lower the temp. if everything is freezing at the bottom of the fridge, and not the entire fridge compartment, then your problem is your freezer fan, or evaporator fan, is failing to circulate the air clockwise through the unit, you need to replace that fan motor.

Bottom freezer not keeping ice cream frozen

Check out freezer temp - should be around zero degrees. Fact that ice maker is still working would indicate that the temps are at least about 10 degrees. If the door seals are tight and the self defrosting mechanism is working properly, the unit may be low on refrigerant. I had similar situation where stuff was frozen but my ice cream was mushy even though unit was running 24 hours a day.

Crosley refridgerator

the only probable cause why a freezer compartment will be hot is if the heater coil that used to heat the ice is still running even there are no more ice in the evaporator.

that will only happen if the bi-metal or thermo disc is shorted.

bi metal is a part where in it would open at 4 degress celcius in order for the defrost heater to stop heating. but if it is shorted then even though the evap temp is more than 4 degrees celcius, it is still heating up ang would make the freezer compart, ment hot.

i hope i answered your problems...

pls rate e..

tnx
