Question about Acer Aspire 5630 Notebook
I would take you laptop to a local store/repair shop and ask them if you can try the PCMCIA NIC in your system to make sure that there is not something else wrong. They should do this either free of for a nominal cost. This way you can check to make sure your system recognizes the NIC card and also that the correct driver is loaded.
