SOURCE: retrieving mxit pin
To get your lost MXit Pin, send an SMS containing the word ‘PIN’ to 34006. You will then receive a SMS in return containing your lost PIN.
Please note:
There is currently no way for international users to sms to recieve their pins
SOURCE: lost sim card
May be details on your box, failing that your provider has a note of your SIM number so you shld get around it that way. Failing this you will have to go to the shop where you got it and they should have it on record. Good luck
SOURCE: My fone just got fixed and i lost my mxit. I can't
If you have lost your pin then you can enter the pin 3 times, util the
PUK lock appears. Then you unlock the PUK calling the phone company
that provided the SIM card inside your phone (eg Vodafone, Telecom,
Tmobile, Orange, AT&T etc.).
Calling the phone company is
the standard procedure to unlock a SIM card, however, if you do not
want to call the company you can just replace the SIM card with one
compatible with the phone, as PIN and PUK codes are related to SIM, and
not to the phone.

The sms to 34006 only works with cell numbers that are in South Africa. If you're there & are getting a blank reply from your service provider, this means the number you SMSed from is NOT registered to MXit.
