Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
A yellow light means a hardware failure, this can be a main board issue, a hard disk failure, or an overheat. First thing to try would be letting the console cool down and trying again. Check all the cables are properly connected to be safe. If the problem persists, it's unlikely to be an overheat issue, and you should contact Sony support and they'll fix it for you. I do believe it costs to get it repaired though.
