Question about Garden
I would take a look at the armature. Check the gap between the rotor and stator. Normal gap ranges are .006" - .010" and .010" to .014". The armature itself could be bad, but before changing a suspected bad armature, check for any bad electrical switches or a wiring problem. Broken or charred insulation will sometimes point out a bad wire. Check the flywheel for any damage and that it doesn't have a key sheared off. Not common, but it happens. Hope this helped.
