What does it say when you try to open them?

Per Amazon: If your book won't open, there may have been an error downloading the book.
To download the book again:
  1. Connect to Wi-Fi.
  2. From Home, tap My Library, and then tap the Downloaded tab.
  3. Press and hold the title of the Kindle book, and then tap Delete This Book.
  4. Tap the Menu icon, tap Settings, tap the Menu icon again, and then tap Restart.
  5. After your Kindle restarts, tap the All tab, and then tap the title of the Kindle book to download it again.

Book Won't Open

Your book won't open on your Kindle (5th Generation), or there's an error when you try to open a book.
Before you perform these steps, make sure that your Kindle is connected to a wireless network. To learn more, go to Connect to Wi-Fi.
There may have been an error with downloading the book. Remove the title from your device, restart your device, and then download the book again.

  1. From Home, select the book or content to be deleted and press the left side of the 5-way controller.
  2. Select Remove from Device.
  3. From the Home screen, press the Menu button and select Settings.
  4. Press the Menu button again and select Restart.
  5. After your device restarts, navigate to your Archived Items, and download the book again

Hi you should log into your Kindle account on your new device and just download your books from the cloud your books are available in your account once you have bought them you just tap on the book and it will download onto your new one

I bought the book on line and can't find it on my kindle

Books you buy on line go into your Kindle Cloud library. To get them onto your device, too, at the time of the purchase you must have your Kindle turned on and connected to Wi-Fi or Whispersynch which is another name for Kindle's 3G (cell phone) connectivity.

If you don't have your kindle listed as the default device, books won't automatically download to it. You will have to do it manually which means touching the Cloud on the home screen while connected to Wi-Fi or 3G and finding the book in your Cloud library. Touching the book will cause it to download onto your Kindle's local storage for anytime use.

Purchaced a new book. Can't access on my Kindle. Why not??

When you buy a book it goes into your library. You can access Amazon Kindle via the Amazon website and check your library to make sure the book you bought is listed there. If it is not, then something went wrong and your sale didn't register. If your new book is listed in your library then it is available. Make sure your Paperwhite is connected to the Amazon Servers via Wi-Fi or 3G if yours has that option and touch (Cloud) you should see your new book listed in your library. Touch it and it should start downloading. It should not take long for the download to complete and the book to appear on your Homescreen. New books should automatically download the first time you connect to the servers after you buy it. But if they don't for some odd reason manually touching them will cause them to download.

That would be true for all your apps too.Your password should be the same for all Apple devices.
Book is paid for so download it to your iPad. You will never pay twice for any app,book, or music.

Kobo account login

talk to customer service for KOBO. You may have bought a book in the wrong format for you reader. Also contact the place you bought the book from for a refund.

Deleted mistake

If you log onto your amazon account you should still be able to download the book again. Go to the shop section on your device or a web page and look at your purchases.
