Having a problem with my tiller i plowed my garden last week with it worked fine now when ever i try to till with it the tines wont ingage like there locked up or some when i put it in gear the belts start smokeing but it trys to turn the tines but wont need help please
You should be able to turn the tines. Check them by hand, sounds like a bearing is frozen.

Something in the wheels drive is jammed preventing them from turning. That is why the turning belt starts to smoke when it is turning but cannot unstick the wheels. Need to unstick them for unit to work.

You will have to take apart the mechanism that the belt pulley was turning and locate the source of the jam. Could be that something broke off internally and has jammed inside the housing. And if that is the case you will have to replace the broken part unless it still works with the part removed. Hey, you got any better ideas? Gonna be a PIA but .........
