What Android version do you have? Its important, because version 5 I believe, they made it a read only. You may need to root the device in order to get the xsd card fully functional.you can find this info under settings/about, and scroll to the bottom
Thank you not sure what version it is only just got it, but from your description it sounds like a version 5,how do I root it? Plus do you mean the settings on the tablet, has you can tell not computer illiterate.
I take my original statement back. It was version 4 where they made the xsd card "read only". And yes, go into apps, then go to settings (not google settings) then at the bottom click on. " about". This will give you all necessary info on your device. If your new to this stuff don't worry, but you might want a reputable shop to do it for you.ONE THING THOUGH, MAKE SURE THEY MAKE A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL OPERATING SYSTEM BEFORE THEY ROOT IT.Rooting allows you to the very guts of the device where you can some cool stuff if so inclined. Good luck!! Any questions, just ask!
