There may be a problem with your video card, or the software is too advanced for your xbox to handle. try upgrading your xbox's video card.

How do i reboot my xbox360? well i put a passcode on my 360 and how i forgot the code

If you wish to recover your password from an online source follow this link and proceed through there recovery process (this strategy requires your account to be registered with XBOX Live)
If this does not work or you have not registered with XBOX Live you can follow these steps to restore factory settings.
1. On the 360 dashboard, go to the "System" tab.
2. On the System tab, click "Console Settings".
3. Scroll down in console settings and click "System Info".
4. When the system info box comes up type in this sequence:
LT RT X Y LB RB Y "Left Stick in" (press it in) Y Y
A box should come up and say, "Would you like to reset the console to the factory defaults?"
Click Reset and your Xbox will have the factory direct settings.

I fell very angry with x box 360 slim edition.... how the engineer doing their work, my problem is my control is always lost connection with my console but for your information the light is still on in my...

This can be an over heating problem. Make sure you are allowing for adequate ventilation around your Xbox 360 unit. If you are sure the system is getting enough venation, you will need to power off the system and power it back up. If you continue to have problems you can contact Microsoft via their website at
They also offer minimal support via twitter at @xboxsupport.
You can also register your system so if need be you can have the unit serviced under Microsoft's warranty.

Three red lights on start up button xbox360

i think the three red light are over heating problems, if your console is un opened i think Microsoft are fixing them for free or you could find a repair shop and they could do the xclamp fix but Microsoft is the best bet.

hope this helps.

Warranty clarification for the xbox 360

As I understand it, and I have three 360s to go by here:

1) You have one year manufacturer warranty for any defects, all are covered. Assuming you purchased it at a retailer, purchasing it online I am not sure.

2) You have 3 years from the date of purchase for both the Red Rings of Death and the E74 issues, which essentially are caused by the same faulty processor.

Word of advice though, if you do get any of the errors listed above always call them, do not use the online forms to send it in. I have had two RRoD and one E74 and have always had MS pay for it with shipping and a box, my friends have used the form and have had to pay shipping themselves.

Registering it:
I didn't have to register any of my consoles until I had the major errors, then I registered them over the phone and got a trouble ticket and replacement set up. I know you do not need to register them for xboxlive so I am not sure what are the additional benefits to registering, if any.
