Question about Brother LS-1217 Mechanical Sewing Machine
My machine, a Singer from about 20 years ago, suddenly stopped working while I was basting. I was basting some interfacing into a bodice just fine. When I began another section, the fabric wouldn't feed forward. I cleaned the lint from inside, underneath, etc. with still no luck. I even tried a different needle and rewound a new bobbin. Please help!
Do the feed dogs move up and down? If they dont the plastic gear underenth has probably broken you can take this to a singer dealer and have them replace the plastic gear with a nylon one which would last longer than that did
