Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
My system, it goes to white on black, and instructs to hit key F1 to continue, and F2 too setup security utility. I can enter home page , but I cannot enter any secure sites. "Puzzled" I need some help.
Sounds like your operating system (Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition?) is corrupt or damaged. Did you purchase the restore CD? If not, you can get it from Dell for about $10 - follow the instructions that come with it. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the hard drive. Depending on how long you have owned it and whether you have the extended warranty, the repair may be covered.
