Answering and ending calls - Bose

To Enable Answer/End Call by flipping open / close the lid you have to enable it in the phone menus. Surprisingly it's not in settings ( where it used to be on older Motorola phones).

Key presses:

• Menu
• Select Call center(top left)
• Call settings (2)
• Advanced Settings (5)
• Answer mode (7)
• Select Cover Answer

Open the menu bar, cliq on settings, then cliq on call settings then check if it is on any key answer, then choose the key you want use in answering your calls.Thank you for using Fixya.

You can set it up to where you can flip open the phone, see who's calling, then decide to answer it.

Which this is how ya do that:

Press center key, scroll to settings&tools, call settings, answer options, then select any key answer.

That'll stop answering it right when you open it.

By default, it's set to "any key" which means when you press any key on the keypad, calls will be received. If it's then go to call settings and set the answer options to "any key" and save the settings.

Auto Attendant
Answer Lines
1 – Feature 983
2 – Log: Dial 1020000 (3-digit DNs) or 120000 (2-digit DNs)
3 – Press AA
4 – Press LINES
5 – Line number: Dial line number (001-xxx).
6 – Line:xxx Ans:No Press CHNG to AA if auto attendant will always answer theline. If a Night Service key will be used to activate auto attendant answering, leave Ans: at No.
7 – If line has been changed to Ans:AA, press * then press TABLE.
8 – If Table:1 is OK press RINGS. (Table 1 is the default greeting table. Change to a different table (1-4) if alternate answering is required on the line being programmed.)
9 – Rings:0 – Press CHNG, dial number of rings before auto attendant answers the line, or leave at 0 for immediate answering. Allow at least 2 rings if CLID is in use.
10 – Repeat for each line to be programmed.

Notes For Night Service Mode Auto Attendant Answering
If the auto attendant will only answer lines in night service mode, line answering should be set to No as per step 6 above. Using night service will cause the AA to answer lines immediately.

Go to the menu(middle button),  go to settings(#), go to call(4) , go to answer mode (4) now choose which ever one you want it should be set on slide open by default change it to either any key(2) or send key only (3)
the phone keeps turning black and power saving because it NEEDS to power save, if it didnt then it would run out very quickly. Why would you want to stop it anyway? if you want to check if you have a message or something just slide the off button or press the camera/mp3 player key. 

If the machine won't go past 4 rings (which it should somewhere in the answering machine settings menu) you could always change your greeting to a message that tells the caller to wait a few more moments for you to answer, while you get to the phone....

u edit ur profile and disable vibration first it wil automatically change ....
eg: u selecting meeting profile means u can edit that profile and turn off the vibration
