Question about Sub-Zero 690 Side by Side Refrigerator
Have a 2000 subzero 650. Two years ago light was flashing and temp rising. Tech replaced sealed system which was leaking. Light started flashing again two years later, but temp remains good. Tech checked sealed system and said there was no leak. Cleaned condensers and reset unit. Two days later light is flashing again.
What else can cause this to happen? What does it actually mean when th light is flashing and the condensers are clean and temp is fine. I'm not sure I understand what triggers that warning message to begin with. Does it mean the compressor is running too long? or????
Thanks in advance.
Your unit is sensing that the condenser fan is running at a lower rpm than it should. that is how you get the signal. You will need to replace the condensor motor if your coils are cleaned already. That is the only cure for your problem. I hope this helps you out.
