Question about Epson Aculaser C1100 Printer
I've put a black toner (when requested to) in the printer as per manual instructions and I've found that the toner seems to be dumped into the printer and running out within a few sheets use. The cartridge is being installed correctly and this hasn't happened before. The quality of print is very good but the black toner is being used ridiculously fast and during use is being emptied into the inside of the printer which has required meticulous cleaning. This has happened with the last two cartridges. Although there is toner still left in the cartridge it says Replace K Toner on the LCD. What is the problem? Is there anyway of resetting the chips to factory defaults and starting again. One of the toners that was used was an original new toner and the last one was a refilled original cartridge. I'm at my wits end! Help!
IF the problem persists with an original cartridge then the factory settings should be restored refer the manual or go through the settings in the control panel . minimise the tone of printing . If toner is getting accumulated in the printer then it might be due to refilled toner not the original cartridge . use the original cartridges
