Just google Dodge Neon images or Chrysler Neon images and you can find some engine bay pictures. If you click on individual pictures there is a link to the source page where you will likely find even more pictures.
You can also google parts diagrams that will show a drawing of various components of the intake system. The major parts suppliers often have these exploded diagrams on their web sites so you can check item by item. This is probably the best option.
There are also numerous videos on Youtube of people working in Neon engine bays.
EBay, Amazon or other online retailers. Search for the keyboard with model of pc. (I.E. HP dv7-1245x keyboard replacement). There should be no shortage of parts anywhere you look.
despite a port on the motherboard for the back-lite option, not all motherboards actually have all the supporting hardware. Those that do, but aren't equipped originally with the backlit keyboard typically haven't installed the basic drivers to operate one.
start by opening: [control panel]>[system]>[device manager] and select 'search for new hardware'
The backlit keyboard is optional. You can go to support.dell.com and type in your service tag, from there you can get a parts list and see if you have the backlit keyboard. From what I'm finding, if you have the backlight, it will come on when you turn the system on. You can buy a backlit keyboard and swap it out if you must have the light.

I found a great 4 piece set for my 2004 Neon included 3 motor mounts and
1 automatic transmission mount for $115. Look at yogiautoparts.com - link for
my part was at http://dodge-car-parts.yogiautoparts.com/20032005_neon_20_engine_automatic_transmission_motor_mount_4x_set_68150.html
The dimmer's performance would not be affected by removing the neon lamp. However, it will be important to snip the leads so they don't cause a short in the circuit board.
You could just use some high-temperature black paint and coat the neon lamp.
it can be from many years, and even from different model vehicles. on the neon, all that mattes is that you get one from an engine that is the same size as yours.
i get this question alot...and its amazing that so manydifferent vehicle parts interchange.
look at the mitsubishi eclipse....all the parts on that models engine interchange with chevy products!!!!
Check the spark plugs and wires. Look at the plugs to see if there is a black line vertical on the ceramic part. That would indicate a faulty plug wire, a common problem of the 2.0 litre engine in the Neon and PT Cruiser.
