Were do i sell a bunch of ham radio equipment

Ham radio fests, Craigs list, local ham club. Maybe a CERT type of group (citizens emergency response team). We have those and they use ham radios. Also try emergency services in your county. You will never get what you paid....Used Ham gear goes cheap.

Can a pair of Kenwood TK 3160 work with Baofeng BF888s I have a Baofend and another coworker has the second Baofeng. Our shipping office bosses have Kenwood TK_3160 can they share channel 7

Here goes. Yes, your Baofeng Ham radios could be programmed onto a business band channel. Yes, it could transmit. BUT, ham radios do not meet the stringent requirements that Business Band radios do. This refers to channel spacing, interference and a long list that Business radios are required to have to make operation legal. Therefore, your Baofeng makes a great scanner. Business band frequencies are to be used by radios meeting these stringent requirements in order to prevent interference. Failure to follow the FCC Rules could result in a hefty fine. Didn't you wonder about the price difference?

Did your local public service switch to a digital system? If so, you cannot receive digital trunking on this radio. Ask at your local Radio Shack store, or a local ham radio operator who can help you out.

Cant get a full signal because man next dor is a radio ham and blocks our signal wot can we do we have boosters and new arial

Unless you are in channel 2 (does not apply to USA any more) and he is transmitting on 10 or 11 meters, you may get some interference. If he is not transmitting, there is no way he can block your signal to the TV. Make sure all your connections from the antenna to the tv are ok,or try directing your antenna to another channel(location). Unless you live to far from the area where the majority of stations are,try with a smaller antenna close to the tv to make sure you have everything connected accordingly. We ham radio guys normally are very friendly if he is a ham radio guy (not a CBr) I am positive he will help.

Static or interference

Turn on the radio. If there is noise, disconnect your antenna from the back of the radio, but DO NOT KEY UP. If the noise goes away, it is coming in from the antenna. if the noise is still there its coming from the power source.

If its coming from the antenna, it could be something near by RF interference. If its not that then there could be something wrong with the antenna, or most likely bad coax. If it does it when windy, there could be a short, or gash in the coax, and makes it short on something

If its coming form the power line, the power supply may be bad, and ready to die. try another power source.

Static in my panasonic telephones

A possible cause for the static in your cordless phones could be dimmer switches around the area of your phone that causes static. Turn the switches completely off (not just turned down) and see if the static leaves. You can replace the dimmers with regular switches if that clears your static. If it does not, another trace for interference: you will have to take a portable radio and turn it to AM 550 mHz and tune it to the loudest crackling noise. Carry the radio around looking for the loudest static interference. Could be a loose connection in a receptacle or panel box. Any small malfunction can cause static on wireless devices.

Radio static only but meta data displays

There will be static. A lot of my passengers are surprised that there is static on satellite radio, but there is. Your Sirius satellite receiver "broadcasts" to your car's FM radio through a frequency you select. For example, the Sirius channel on my car radio is 89.1, which is pretty clear and works pretty well on my regular commute. But if I drive beyond that route, where 89.1 is routinely used by regular broadcast radio stations, there is a lot of interference and static. I then have to switch frequencies on both the receiver and car radio, to find another clear channel. Quite a pain. There will be interference. Even the smallest bridge, tunnel, or parking garage often seems to block satellite reception, and occasionally the signal will completely disappear for no reason.

I DID TONS OF RESEARCH FOR YOU ABOUT THESE RADIOS. THE SAME PROBLEM YOU HAVE ARE FOUND BY 100'S OF OTHERS. IT'S THE COMPANY THEMSELVES HAVING DIFFICULTIES.
