I was watching it last night and recording a show. I fell asleep and when I woke up it was off. I tryed to turn it on with the remote and it would not work. I tryed it manualy and still not work. I checked the plug both at the eletric outlet and the back of the t.v. and still will not work. Help.

I will get back to you on the model number but it does have a dvd and vcr built into it. When you say power supply, what do you mean?

Oh I see, here is your other question. The power supply is a power unit built inside the television, it is a fairly common part when it comes to failures, and it will usually result in the TV simply not turning on. If there was a power surge of any sort, or a brown out, and your TV is not behind a pretty substantial surge protector it's possible it got zapped, or just gave out due to electronic failure.

You will want to contact the manufacturer if you think it's under warranty still, since you have tried to unplug and replug the unit there is not a whole lot else you can do as the end user, it will need professional service, in person unfortunately. If it's still under warranty it will be free however, so definitely check that out.

Thanks, hope this helps
