Yes, it can be done. Here are the steps to copy them over:

1. Turn on your camera
2. Press the button to view the pictures you have taken (the button that has the green sideways triangle with the green square around it).
3.Press the Menu/Ok button
4. Arrow down to "Copy"
5. Press the Menu/Ok button
6. To copy the photos from the internal memory to an SD card simply hit Menu/ok button again.
7. Arrow down to "All Frames" and then press Menu/Ok
8 It now asks you to confirm. To continue copying the pictures over, press Menu/Ok again.
9. It will now begin copying your pictures over.

There you go. Hope this helps!

As far as I know, pics can't be moved from the internal memory to a memory card in the camera. You will need the cable that came with the camera and take them off (save to computer) that way. I never use the internal memory as it is very small compared to the maximum 2 gig capacity of an SD or XD card. Just set your camera to save to a memory card instead of internal memory and that way you don't need the cable, just pop out the memory card and put it into a card reader and save your pics that way. A firmware "flash' is available at fujifilm usa to enable your camera to use a 4 gig card. You will need the CD to install the program and also the cable if you want to increase the capacity of the memory card used. Get in the habit of saving your pics to your computer on a regular basis. Memory cards can be damaged easily and lost even easier and then your precious memories are gone. I only use a 512 MB card and it holds enough at one time for my use, even at full resolution.

WOW, pilotoftruth! Thanks for that great solution. I never knew that my S700 could do that. The instruction book isn't very clear on that point (if I can remember where I put it) and is all about using the cable and the program they supply. As I stated in my solution, I always use a card reader with my memory cards and have never used the limited internal memory. Thanks again for a simpler solution!

Your answer came up and it was like 10 seconds to relief!!! Thank you sooooo much! Yu have no idea how frustrated I was becoming and I needed these pix today- no time to order a new a/v cord. Thanks again!

What do you do when camera says internal memory filled.

Digital cameras store pictures on their internal memory. Often users transfer their photographs to memory cards, because memory cards store more data and are accessible in computers, other digital cameras and other devices. When you want to move pictures stored on the internal memory card, do so through the camera's menu
1 Place the memory card into the digital camera.
2 Turn on the digital camera.
3 Access the digital camera's menu. Digital cameras have a button labeled "Menu" near the LCD screen. Push this button to open the menu.
4 Select the Pictures option. Select the photos on your internal memory using the "Select" or "OK" button on the arrow pad on the back of the camera. Click "Copy" and choose "Memory Card" to copy the files to the memory card. If there is more than one picture that needs copying to the memory card, perform this step for each picture.

Have a good day! Smile : )

I took pictures on my camera without a memory card can i still download my pictures

I'm glad to provide the steps to transfer images from Internal Memory of the Camera. When the camera does not have a memory card in it, the images are saved by default to the camera's internal memory, which holds different amounts of images based on how many megapixels are built into the internal memory and what image quality and compression are selected in the camera's menu. Once a memory\picture card is inserted in the camera, the camera then saves the photos to the memory\picture card and ignores the internal memory.

There are two ways to transfer the images from the internal memory.

  • To transfer photos to a computer from the internal memory using the USB cable, first remove the memory card from the camera. Then, when the camera is connected, the computer and software will only see what is in the internal memory and transfer those photos or videos. During the transfer process, the computer makes copies of the photos and videos-the original images remain in the internal memory. After the transfer is complete and the camera is safely disconnected from the computer, the contents of the internal memory can be deleted by using the MEMORY FORMAT function in the SETUP menu in the camera's menus.

  • The other way to transfer photos from the internal memory is to transfer them to the memory\picture card using the BACKUP function in the SETUP menu. If there is no memory\picture card in the camera, the BACKUP function is grayed-out. During BACKUP, copies of the images are transferred to the memory\picture card-the original images remain in the internal memory. After the BACKUP is complete, the internal memory can be cleared by removing the memory\picture card and formatting the internal memory using the MEMORY FORMAT function in the SETUP menu in the camera's menus.

Note: When the camera is connected to a computer using the USB cable with a memory\picture card in the memory\picture card slot, the computer will only see the contents of the memory\picture card.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any additional help.

Camera keeps saying internal memory is full, even after putting a

Your internal memory is separate from your memory card. Think of it as two folders, the internal memory cannot be removed, and the memory card is one you can take with you. You can put new memory cards in it all day, the internal memory will still have pictures in it. You may wish to consider copying all internal memory to the memory card. To do this, make sure your camera has a memory card in it. View pictures on your internal memory, then from the menu option select 'copy all images to external memory.' In doing this, all of your photos will be moved, you can then clean out your internal memory by deleting everything/formatting it. :)

Lost original installation software fugi finepix S5600

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I dont know how to transfer photos from the built in memory to the memory card.

I had the same problem but found the previous solution skipped a few steps for those of us that need to be walked through these things! Here is what I did to transfer the photos I had on the internal memory on my Panasonic Lumiv camera:
Press Menu, use down arrow to move option on left side from "mode" down to "playback" (shows an arrow), then use right arrow to move to list and down arrow to scroll to last item on last page, which is "copy". Press menu to select it, then choose the first choice, which is internal memory to memory stick and push menu and you are done!

Internal memory to memory card

Generally, it's not possible to move images from internal memory to a memory card, which poses a problem because you can't connect that camera to your computer.

Most digital cameras keep the internal memory separate from the memory card. Not sure why, but they do.

It's unlikely that you'll be able to get those photos off, if the camera isn't recognized by the computer.
