Question about KitchenAid KSBP25INSS
Icemake stopped making ice. We noticed the filter was way overdue to replace. We replaced the filter and ice make still does not make ice. We can get water from dispenser but no ice production. We have checked to see if there is any clogged ice and also put a hair dryer to melt any clogs. Sensor is on, too. Can't figure this one.
It sounds like it is time to replace your icemaker. It is not requesting water and it is not going to restart once it fails. The part number is 2198597 and it is about 130 dollars. You can try to look around for a cheaper price but don't buy a generic unit. You will regret it.
