Question about Acer TravelMate 290 Notebook
When you bootup and the power LED is on and the hard disk is spinning and the hard disk LED is flashing, then the hard disk is most likely OK.
Check the BIOS setting to see if the hard disk is detected.
Reseat the RAM moduled and the hard disk and see if this solves your problem.
Do you see any error messages on the screen?
If so please give me the details and I can advise what actions to take next.
