Question about Fuji FinePix A345 Digital Camera

1 Answer

What size triwing screwdriver is required for A345. Which shop offers it in Toronto. Thanks!

The screen of my Camera is blurred. However if i give it two three hard taps then it seemed to work fine earlier. But now even tapping is not working. I guess may be some connection is loose inside so i want to open the camera. For this special triwing screwdriver is required. Can some one tell me which size tri-wing screw driver is required for subject camera and from where i can purchase it in Toronto ? Thanks !

How old is your camera, where did you buy it and how long ago, and where are you, what city are you in, and I will pull up the schematic and figure that out for you, let me know.

I have the A345 digital camera. The camera takes pictures and video but the monitor won't come on. What to do?

Well, you send it off for repair to fujifilm (search google) and they will give you a quote, or you can guess that it is the LCD screen and replace it yourself. Search for Finepix A345 LCD and you'll usually find several suppliers, even on ebay. Some will even send you the little tool required to get into the camera. Prices range from £12 on ebay to £25 from parts shop.

Card error

Cladislaw, I don't know if this is the exact solution, but considering that your XD card is new, and as this one is not working I assume you old one was, it is likely that the card is not compatible to your camera.
Yes, the gammat of technology fails to find consistency in the simplest things: Not all XD cards are the same.
I think your camera uses an XD "M-type" card, now a days there's a new XD "H-type" card ('H' for high capacity) which are the same size but offer much larger capacity and storage speed.
If you've bought your new card from a reputable retailer, go see them and ask them to try another (of a different type and smaller capacity) and if it is the wrong one then they may offer to replace what you have.
There is the obvious, which we should cover - are you sure the card is inserted the right way. Also, check the contacts that they are not dirty or bent or tarnished (don't touch them with your fingers).
Hope this helps, but please let us know if it doesn't so we can follow up further.

I have a Fuijifm Camera/finepix A345 with 4.1 Mega Pixel. The zoom lens is stuck in the closed position. When you turn the camera on, it states Zoom Error. The camera will still show the pictures on the...

Face the camera lens towards the floor and firmly tap on the back of it while tunring on, make sure you have new batteries or that the battery is fully charged, you may have to do this a number of times before it releases the zoom. Camera's require specialist tools to open them up, you may have to get it serviced

"Shake" warning symbol won't leave screen.

That shake warning will appear whenever the camera is in a low-light situation where the shutter speed is low and the images may blur. If it's coming on even in bright light, maybe you set the shutter speed to a fixed low setting? Either way, you may be able to shut off the warning in the settings of the camera.
