Question about PANDIGITAL 7-Inch Digital Photo Frame with 2 Interchangeable Frames (DPF701) Digital Picture Frame

1 Answer

PhotoShare 7D won't turn on

I bought this product for my husband in Iraq. I bought it, downloaded all the pictures, put it back in the box just like I bought it, packaged it real good and sent the digital frame. When my husband got it, he plugged it in and it worked. When he moved to a different room, plugged it in and what do you know the piece of **** will not turn on. He could not get help from over there and I could not do nothing without the product. Does anyone know how I can fix this or report this product or try and get a new one!!! I hate this when you buy something and it messes up.

We can only help with the technical issues, not your emotional distress. If, as you say, the item was bought in Iraq, then it is likely that there are voltage supply differences between the country of sale and wherever you are now.

SOURCE: USB Connection

Hi Amanda and Lisa. Are you making sure the picture frame is off BEFORE you plug it in to your computers? Make sure you:
Turn it off before pluging it in, then plug in the USB cable. Now you can turn on the picture frame and you should see the frame's memory and any SD cards you have plugged into it in the removable drives section.
Let me know if that helps. If not let me know, and thanks for coming to FixYa. If you're happy with my answer then don't forget to rate it appropriately.

SOURCE: Picture Frame will not turn on. Put new batteries in.

If you are not able to find your connecting cable. and i am assuming your need is to transfer the data to comp. Well what you can do is you can take out the memory card and fix it into the card reader (you will get a card reader vey cheap anywhere.). and connect it to your comp. Now your card will work as a flash drive and you can transfer data easily then... Hope this helps you out.. :)

I have a photoShare 7D but have t the manual

If you are seeking advice on obtaining a manual (which is not entirely clear from your posting), then if you google the make and model, followed by the word manual, you should be presented with a list of sites from which you can take your pick

I am looking for the manual for the Photoco PhotoShare 7D digital picture frame.

The manufacturer's website is under construction; at some point in the future you may be able to download a manual from here:

In the meantime, seaches suggest it is possible your manual is available from one of the pay download sites. You will have to decide whether you want to pay and join one of these sites.

Canon 7D eos utility able to view all pictures select but when hit "download" keep getting a "busy" in red at bottom of dialog box and won't let me download or delete pictures...why???

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I have a photoco photoshare 7d and i can't figure out how to make to slide show work with an sd card. Also my computer won't communicate with it when hooked up with an usb cable.

Load the pictures off the media card. Choose a picture, this mode leaves that picture on permanently. At this point hold down the menu button and the picture will change slides. It will continue to change slides after that at your chosen slide interval time :) Can't help you with the USB connection though.

Lack of image

There is a known problem with the 7D and some early 5D's where sometimes when you turn the camera on and take a picture it is all black and the camera locks up. You can turn it off and back on and the problem goes away for awhile. Don't know if this is what ou are experiencing. If it is, Sony (who bought out Konica Minolta's camera division) will fix the problem for free. Just had this repaired on my 7D.
