Unfortunately, for the price of the repair, a new machine could probably be purchased for the same price or close.

SOURCE: I need english manual for 7258 singer

Singer has the manual for sale and download for the 7258 Stylist sewing machine on their site: http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals . The direct link to the manual is http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/617_7258-instruction-manual.pdf . This is a tri-lingual manual with the translations done page by page (one page of English, then French and then Spanish). As you look at the PDF, you'll find that page 3 and 6, etc. are in English.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Singer 7258 will not sew automatic buttonholes. The needle goes up and down, but that's all. The buttonhole lever is down, so that's not it. Please help.

if the sewing machine is set on the buttonhole setting then it's
possible that the sewing machine motherboard has a problem.
or a part could be damaged, the machine may need some type
of adjustment.

Can Singer 7258 Stylist be used in a Country like India with 220 - 240 voltage? Is there any UK model for the same?

the machine comes in two versions european {220-240v}
or american {110v}

you need to use a transformer to give 110-240v
the current this machine uses is less than 3amps
so a 3amp 110-240v converter is easily found on ebay for $10

E7 sounds like an error code. First step is to look it up in your owner's manual.

UK plug in USA

You need a US to UK transformer if there is not a voltage selector switch on the unit. The motor however may not like being connected to a 60Hz electricity supply. Best contact the manufacturer.
