Wiring wiper swicth diagram

Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits ! Using a wiring diagram and a volt meter ? test power to the wiper motor .
Control from the switch .

Under system click body & accessories , subsystem click wiper / washer . click the search button then the blue link . Look at the diagram for pin # 's an wire colors , see fuse at top of diagram . Check B+ power with volt meter . Check the inputs from the wiper switch to the motor . If all the power an inputs are good , replace the wiper motor .

Only thing in between the two is the wiring. The problem may lie there.

in engine bay fusebox 1 relays number 5 and 6 are for wiper motors. hope this helps

Sounds simple.
First port of call is the wiper switch and wiring to it from fuse box. The swicth especially.

Next port of call will be wiring and connections from fuse box to wiper motor. Wiper motos seems to be OK according to your fault description.

Yes you can, open the bonnet and trace the switch wire from wiper motor, its shorting somewhere or mixed with horn or other accessory wires.

try the relay in the engine compartment.
and the wiper motor where the wires enter the motor may have shorted out or may be wet.

Heres a wiring diagram, this sounds like it may be a wiper module or a bad body control module, you have checked all your fuses and i assume they are good, heres a diagram to help you .

before you replace the swicth check the blower resistor its right behind the blower motor use a 12 volt test light hooked up to ground un hook resistor and test wires from the swicth that will tell you whats up you may need wireing diagram to correctly test the speed control wires if one one leg doesnt work the replace fan speed switch just pull plastic bezel around hvac area and remove srews pull out and remove switch
